"Fitness Options is greatthe facility is always clean and has lots of natural light, big windows with great views while working out.

The trainers have been terrific to work with and adjust the workouts to accommodate my physical limitations. They encourage you to work hard but still listen to your needs.

The 'lunchtime' classes pack a lot of exercise into a half hour.  Everyone is friendly; the whole experience is the best!"

Consultation and Fitness Assessment

Fitness Options Personal Training Studio likes to start each new client off with an assessment of their fitness level before beginning an exercise program. In our consultation, we will complete a fitness assessment to measure your current level of fitness, aid in goal setting and tracking your progress, track a variety of health-related components and root out obstacles. These assessments result in unearthing one's deepest desires and setting appropriate objectives, therefore increasing motivation.

Your fitness assessment provides a baseline measurement of cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, body composition, blood pressure and flexibility. Assessments will happen routinely under your trainer's supervision to track the progression of your training.

A Basic Fitness Assessment Includes:

Height & Weight

Resting Heart Rate & Blood Pressure: Resting heart rate and blood pressure are important indicators to measure as you begin and progress in your fitness routine.

Body Composition: Measures the ratio of lean body mass to fat mass with skin fold measurements and girth measurements.

Cardiovascular Endurance: Estimates the aerobic fitness level by performing a 3-minute step test on a 12-inch step.

Muscular Endurance: Tests the ability of your muscles to exert force over an extended period of time. This is assessed through pushing and pulling exercises.

Flexibility: A sit-and-reach test is performed to assess your flexibility in the hips and hamstrings. Flexibility in these areas is related to the health and function of the lower back and is an important component to fitness which aids in injury prevention.

We succeed when you succeed.
